Advanced open water diver courses
An Advanced Open Water Diver course is the next level to building on the foundational skills and knowledge learned in the Open Water Diver course. This course typically involves five different adventure dives, including two mandatory dives; a deep dive and a underwater navigation dive, as well as three different dives that allow the student divers to explore a variety of speciality courses like wreck diving, night diving, ice diving etc.
Each adventure dive provides hands-on experience and introduces divers to new skills and techniques, enhancing their ability to handle different environments underwater.
The Advanced Open Water courses also emphasises safety, dive planning, and improved buoyancy control.
By the end of the course, divers are more proficient, confident and are able to dive to greater depths, while also understanding more about dive theory, equipment use, and the responsibilities of being an advanced diver.
