Divexplore is all about safety & high quality scuba training
We aim to make every interaction with our valued students a great, safe and memorable occasion. At Divexplore South Wales, we pride ourselves in providing excellent customer service, and the highest-quality of professional scuba diving instruction South Wales has to offer.
Our goal is to expand the diving community by introducing others to the diving lifestyle through inspiration, motivation, and education. To fully experience what the ocean and other explorable bodies of water have to offer you need to be able to scuba dive, and that’s where we come in.
By submersing ourselves in the underwater world we gain a deeper appreciation for the ocean each and every time we dive, this in turn, increases the respect and love we should all show to our oceans and planet as a whole.
The more people we can introduce to the joy of diving, the greater number of people we can encourage to protect our planet.
This is why for us, at Divexplore, diving is much more than just a hobby, it’s a lifestyle.
Meet the team
Dan - Owner / Instructor
Dan began his scuba diving journey in 2008 whilst on holiday in Egypt’s red sea.
After his return home he knew that he had to carry forward this love for diving, eventually he started his training in 2010.
In early 2014 after being mentored and trained by the best instructors in South Wales he received his certification for a PADI Openwater Scuba Instructor.
Since then he has instructed hundreds of courses with PADI, SSI and SDI.
Although his main training location has been South Wales, he has also instructed courses in various parts of the world.
After 10 years of instructing with various dive companies he decided to open his own scuba diving company; Divexplore.
He continues to further educate himself in this ever changing world so that he can pass on the best and most up to date practices to his students so that they can enjoy the underwater world safely.

Ray - Instructor
Ray has been diving all over the world and has thousands of pleasure and training dives under his belt. I’m sure when you meet him he will tell you all about the time he stroked a tiger shark as it passed.
Dedicated to training Ray has instructed from here to catmandoo and has an extensive knowledge at a fair few diving specialities, he even wrote the Kayak Diving Speciality Course.
If he’s not diving here then you will find him in Maldives soaking up the sun and drinking cocktails.
