SSI Stress and Diver Rescue
The SSI Diver Stress and Rescue specialty program will equip you with the skills to confidently help both yourself and your fellow divers in surface and underwater emergencies.
You’ll learn to identify stress in divers, prevent accidents before they happen, and master practical techniques for conducting rescues and providing emergency care.
Through a combination of pool and open water sessions, you’ll become well-prepared and confident in handling stressful situations.
When you successfully complete the course, you’ll earn the official SSI Diver Stress and Rescue Specialty certification.
SSI Stress and Rescue Diver Prerequisites :
- Minimum age: 12
- SSI Open Water Diver or equivalent
- Complete a fit to dive medical. Downloadable PDF
- Valid First Aid certification (not older than 2 years)
